Croxley Rail Link

That the Croxley Rail Link project is a rail transport project of the London Underground in the British county of Hertfordshire. She uses it in part, a disused railway line in 1996.

Project

The project provides for the relocation of the Watford branch of the Metropolitan Line of the Watford Underground station to Watford Junction train station, as the existing station is located far outside Watford. Completion should be 2015 or 2016.

New line

Will be built a 5.5 -kilometer route between Croxley and Watford High Street railway station on the Watford DC Line on which the Metropolitan trains will be run to Watford Junction.

The route to 1996

Until 1996 there was a branch line from Watford High Street until after Croxley Green, close to the planned station Ascot Road.
