Cruks en Karnak is an Ecuadorian band that was founded in 1989 in Quito. She is considered one of the best Latin rock formations of South America.
Cruks en Karnak mix rock music with pop, Latin music, funk and South American folklore. Is often compared her music to that of Juanes.
The namesake of the band to be the physicist Sir William Crookes and the Egyptian temple at Karnak.
Soccer World Cup 2006 published Cruks en Karnak A mi lindo Ecuador, the official World Cup song of the Ecuadorian team. This is a new version of an Ecuadorian folk song. 2006 World Cup Cruks en Karnak also played for the first time in Germany, including Berlin with Culcha Candela and the NRWM Fanfestival in 12 cities in North Rhine -Westphalia.
