The zoea or Zoealarve (Greek zoon, " animal ", " living creature ") is a larval form of crustaceans ( Crustacea), which usually connects to the stage of Naupliuslarve. It occurs in most decapods ( Decapoda ), here the Zoea hatches directly from the egg.

Description
