Crvena Jabuka

Crvena Jabuka ( Serbo-Croatian for Red apple ) is a 1985 in Sarajevo ( Bosnia and Herzegovina), founded successful pop band with musicians from the former Yugoslavia. Meanwhile, the band lives and works in Croatia.

History

The band was in their original line-up from Dražen RICL (guitar and vocals), Zlatko Arslanagić (rhythm guitar), Dražen Žerić ( keyboards and vocals ), Aljoša Buha (bass) and Darko Jelcic (drums).

In 1986, the band recorded their first album Crvena Jabuka, which sold very well. Soon after, she started a tour. The first performance was to take place in Mostar, why it never came, as Dražen RICL Aljoša Buha suffered fatal on the way. The band ceased its work. In honor of the two band members crashed a concert was held in Sarajevo, occurring in the numerous musicians and groups of all generations.

In January 1987, the band recorded their second album, which she dedicated to both the deceased band members. This was followed by the albums Sanjati, Tamo gdje ljubav počinje, Uzmi me kad ti HOCES and Nekako s proljeća. Due to the war in Bosnia had the planned tour to be canceled and the band made ​​the biggest break of her career.

1995 came Krešimir Kaštelan, Mario Vukovic, Danijel Lastrić, Nikša Bratos and Saša Zalepugin the band. Further albums followed and concerts in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Germany and Denmark.
