Crypta Neapolitana

The Grotta di Pozzuoli (also crypt Neapolitana ) is a tunnel in the city of Naples.

The tunnel was built by the Romans in the 1st century BC, passes under the Posillipo hill and connects the district with the Fuorigrotta located on the western side of the Posillipo parts of the city. It is 705 meters long, usually about 4 feet high and wide.
