CS Concordia Chiajna

Clubul Sportiv Concordia Chiajna is a Romanian football club from Chiajna, Ilfov County. He plays from the 2012/13 season in the second Romanian football league, the League II

History

Concordia Chiajna was founded in 1957 as a football club and contributed in the course of its history the names GAC Chiajna, AS Chiajna and ILF Militari ( Întreprinderea de Legume - Fructe Militari ). The club played for many years below the highest leagues until 1988 he attracted attention made ​​for the first time, when he failed to move up to the third-rate Divizia C in the relegation. As of 1992 the club then played in Divizia C, but this was after the leagues reform in Romania from 1992 to 1997, only the fourth highest league.

In the first half of the season 2005/ 06 Adrian Bumbescu accepted the offer to train Concordia in Divizia D. During the winter break of the season 2005/ 06 Concordia merged with the relegation-threatened third division Argesul Mihăileşti. Ion Dumitru took over in early 2006 the post of technical director at the new club, the third division football team in the second half under the name Concordia Chiajna - took Mihăileşti and could only on the final day avoid relegation in the Viertklassigkeit. Before the start of the new season, the team from the League IV was converted into a youth team and the team from the league III received the now vacant name Concordia Chiajna. Dumitru solved there from Vasile Bardes as a coach and managed to 2007 with the club promotion to the Liga II After the eighth round of the second division season 2008/ 09 was replaced as coach by Ion Dumitru Dumitru Bolborea, of the club until his release on 1 June 2009 trained. Adrian Bumbescu then took over again the office of the head coach, had on October 5, 2009 but the then technical director Ion Dumitru soft and was again his assistant. After Dumitrus contract was terminated on April 6, 2010 due to failure, Bumbescu returned again to the executive chair. After the end of the second division season 2009/10 Dinita ended his career as a player and has been a full-time coach of the team. But after the 8th round of the 2010/11 season he was replaced by Costel Orac, who was by then technical director of the club. During the winter break of the season 2010/11 failed to merge with the first division club Unirea Urziceni, after Dinita had to intervene again as a player into the action. 5 May 2011 Costel Orac was dismissed as a coach and Dinita again took over the role of the players coach. At the end of the 2010/11 season the club finished second in the Season 1 Piatra Neamţ behind Ceahlăul and rose for the first time in the top division of the country. Chiajna thus replaced Brăneşti as the smallest place from Romania, from which ever one club had played in the top division.

After the club had slipped to the penultimate place in the standings, Laurentiu Dinita was December 17, 2011 on his coaching positions and was the next day by Laurentiu Reghecampf, the former coach of the second division FC Snagov replaced. After the 2012/13 season the club would be relegated to the Liga II after two years, was left by the withdrawal of licenses from Rapid Bucharest ultimately in the House of Lords.
