CS Otopeni

The Clubul Sportiv Otopeni is a Romanian sports club from Otopeni. The football section of the club plays since 2009 in the League II, the second- highest Romanian football league.

History

CS Otopeni was founded in 2001 as a pure football club with a men's and two junior teams. He first started in Divizia D of the circle Ilfov and was there in the 2001/ 02 season in third place. Despite the missed sporting ascent succeeded Gheorghe Constantin Silviu, the mayor of Otopeni, to acquire the right to start for the Divizia C so that CS Otopeni under coach Adrian Dumitru took third in the top division in 2002.
