Cserkeszőlő
Cserkeszőlő is a municipality in the small area Kunszentmárton, Jász -Nagykun -Szolnok, Hungary.
The place is known for its thermal mineral springs. In the region there are also wine and fruit growing.
Geography
Cserkeszőlő covers an area of 30.7 km ². It is located in the region Észak Great Plain ( Northern Great Plain ) 113 km south-east from Budapest. The place has a 83 ° C hot thermal water, which was discovered in 1943 in the petroleum exploration.
History
Cserkeszőlő was only on 1 January 1952 independent settlement until then, it was a suburb of Tiszakürt.
