Csilla Bátorfi

Csilla Bátorfi [ tʃil ː ɒ ː ba Torfi ] ( born March 3, 1969 in Szombathely ) is a Hungarian table tennis player. She won several titles at the European Championships.

Beginning

Csilla Bátorfi is the daughter of the pediatrician István Bátorfi, who played in the 1980s in the Hungarian League 2 table tennis. Her father brought her 9- year-old table tennis, he became its first coach. After a few years in Tolna (1975-1984), the family moved to Budapest. Here Csilla Bátorfi joined the club BSE.

Youth success

At the European Championships of the students she took bronze in singles and in 1982 with the team, 1983 3rd place in doubles (with Krisztina Nagy ) and gold with the team.
