Csilla von Boeselager

Csilla Külly Baroness von Boeselager ( born May 17, 1941 in Budapest, † February 23, 1994 in Arnsberg- Voßwinkel ) was the founder and chairman of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service ( UMCD ), co-founder of the Magyar Máltai Szeretet Szolgálat ( MMSZ ) and Lady Order of Malta.

Life

Csilla Baroness von Boeselager, born Csilla Fényes of Dengelegh, was the wife of Wolfhard Freiherr von Boese stock. Born in Budapest, she fled to Venezuela in 1945, where she spent her childhood and youth. Then in the U.S. studying chemistry and working as a marketing manager until the end of the 60s. 1972 marriage. Since 1982 she has been an active member of Malteser. In 1987, she began to collect donations for Hungary and sent first aid supplies. After the Hungarian government had agreed on was the baroness of Boese camp initiative on 4 February 1989, the founding of the Magyar Máltai Szeretetszolgalat in Budapest, as a counterpart of the launched on 14 December 1988 the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service eV in Germany, whose first chairman Baroness von Boese camp was. Since 2008, a new road is named after Csilla Boeselager in the Arnsberg district Voßwinkel. Also in Paderborn there is such a road.

Csilla von Boeselager Foundation Osteuropahilfe

From their club which was after her death " Csilla von Boeselager Foundation Eastern Europe eV " ( a member of the Joint Welfare Association ).

The focus is on emergency assistance to people in Eastern Europe, but also for those countries that are not in the European Union.

The Foundation Association, founded by Csilla Boeselager in Arnsberg- Voßwinkel 1991 has over 300 members. In private, voluntary and independent work they support in Eastern Europe mostly smaller non- governmental initiatives in building and the continuation of social and charitable assistance. Active members entertained as sponsors for specific projects, locations or regions along with friends and supporters close relations and sponsorships to individuals and groups locally.

The Foundation Association was continued until 2007 by Csilla of Boeslagers husband Dr. Wolfhard Boeselager, children and friends on a volunteer basis. Since 2007, Wolfhard Boeselager and Honorary Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Foundation. The new volunteer board consists of Dr. Raphael of Hoensbroech (Chairman), Ildiko von Ketteler - Boeselager (Deputy Chairman ), Michael Boeselager (Treasurer), Ilona Boeselager (public relations ), Christina of Hoensbroech ( members and donors ) and Georg von Eichendorff Strachwitz (projects and godparents ).
