Csincse

Csincse is a town in Borsod -Abaúj -Zemplén.

Geographical Location

Csincse lies in northern Hungary, 25 kilometers from county capital Miskolc. Neighboring municipalities are Mezőkeresztes 9 km Vatta 5 km away. The nearest town Emőd is located about 11 km away from Csincse.

History

The region was inhabited since the Great Migration. After the fall of the castle of Eger in 1553 here came her castle commander Gergely Bornemissza in Turkish captivity. After the battle of Mezőkeresztes deserted the village and the area was slammed Mezőkeresztes. In the second half of the 19th century Gyula Hoffmann bought the land and built a large-scale agricultural operation. The actual village was developed hieraus.1994 Csincse independent municipality.
