History
The place was originally called Buckhorn Settlement. Around 1800, established the entrepreneur Patrick Cudahy on a site of 280 acres of a meat factory and the town was renamed in Cudahy. In 1895 the town was incorporated as the Village of Cudahy and in 1906 elevated to "City".
