Cuenca Minera (Huelva)

The Cuenca Minera is a comarca of the province of Huelva in the Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia. It was, like all Andalusian Comarcas, established on 28 March 2003.

It is located in the western hinterland of the province and consists of the municipalities Berrocal, Campofrío, El Campillo, La Granada de Río Tinto, Minas de Riotinto, Nerva and Zalamea la Real and has 16,467 inhabitants ( 1 January 2013).
