Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument

The Cueva del Milodon is a 200 m long cave in Chile. It was ( giant sloth ) named after the prehistoric Mylodon, which was found in this cave in 1895 by the German adventurer Hermann Eberhard. At the entrance of the cave is a monument showing a Mylodon in the original size. The cave is located 24 km northwest of the city of Puerto Natales in the Magallanes y Antártica Chilena de la (Region XII).

The cave is classified as Chilean National Monument ( Monumentos Nacionales de Chile).
