Cuisery

Cuisery is a municipality with 1652 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in Burgundy in France, situated on the River seille. It is a partner congregation of Home Guard on the wine route. Politically Cuisery part of the department of Saône -et -Loire.

The known history of Cuisery begins in the 11th century. There is evidence of a previous Celtic and Gallo- Roman settlement in Cuisery.

Since 1999, projects are underway to make Cuisery to a book town. At present there are around 16 antique shops and book stores in town.
