Cultural lag

The theory of cultural lag (English cultural lag ) states that the company can not keep up with technological advances. It follows that an imbalance within society. Due to this imbalance leads to social problems, changes in social structure and conflict. The concept of cultural lag has significantly influenced William Ogburn in his work " On Culture and Social Change " from 1922.
