Cumhuriyet
Cumhuriyet ( pronunciation / i;? " Republic " ) is a Turkish national daily newspaper with editorial headquarters in Istanbul. The newspaper is by his own admission aligned left - Kemalist but also according to estimates by Turkish media experts.
Cumhuriyet is one of the oldest daily newspapers in Turkey. It was founded in 1924 by journalist Yunus Nadi Abalioglu.
Media journalists described the newspaper as a serious and intellectually. It is designed rather text than image -heavy in contrast to many other newspapers and used in contrast to the major tabloids a differentiated writing style. The newspaper has a circulation of about 75,000 copies sold.
Cumhuriyet Hafta
Since 1990 their weekly newspaper Cumhuriyet Hafta appears with a special edition in Germany in an edition of 4,800 (as of 2001).
