Curate

Curate (from the Latin cura, " care " or " care") is an old canonical title and referred to the Catholic Church and in the Anglican Church an assistant priest with private pastoral district / range ( Kuratie, Pfarrvikarie ). Curate, if the law provides otherwise, the pastors assimilated ( can. 516 § 1 CIC).

In Catholic Scout associations in the German speaking countries ( DPSG, PSG, PPÖ and others) entrusted with the spiritual association management board members curate are called.
