Curçay-sur-Dive

Curçay -sur -Dive is a commune of 221 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Vienne in the Poitou -Charentes; it belongs to the district of the canton of Chatellerault and Les Trois- Moutiers. Neighboring communities of Curçay -sur -Dive are Ternay in the north, Les Trois- Moutiers in the northeast, Glénouze in the east, Ranton the southeast, Pas -de- Jeu in the south, Saint -Léger -de- Montbrun in the southwest and Saint -Martin- de -Mâcon in the northwest.

The village lies on the right bank of the river Dive, as well as on parallel Canal de la Dive on which the craft is set since 1957.
