Curiapo
Curiapo is a village in the state of Delta Amacuro in the delta of the Orinoco. It is seat of the county ( municipality ) Antonio Díaz.
Population
In the area lived about 2880 Warao Indians in 2001. Most people live on fishing, hunting and gathering.
The village is considered as a tourist attraction in the region, even if tourism is underdeveloped.
Location
Curiapo lies to the east by Venezuela in the delta of the Orinoco.
Education
The village has a couple of primary schools, under which the Escuela Pedernales is the largest.
