Curious George

Curious George ( German: Curious monkey) is the protagonist of a series of mostly known in the U.S. children's books with the same title, written by Hans Augusto Rey and Margret Rey. The books are about a curious monkey named George, who by " the man with the yellow hat " (in the original English: "the man with the yellow hat " ) is brought from Africa in his city and lives with him.

Premise

In the books, it's mostly a matter that George crashes because of his curiosity in problems to which it has to save " the Man with the Yellow Hat". In retrospect, George learns mostly from his mistakes. Since the books are directed primarily to children, both the problems and the morals are easy to understand.

Formation

The books were written by the couple Margret and Hans Augusto Rey. They started with the first book in the series Curious George in 1941. Initially the books were only HA Rey ascribed to ensure that the books of the couple could be distinguished by the amount of children's books that were written by female authors. Later, the illustrations Hans Augusto and the text of his wife, Margret Rey, were attributed. The two wrote many other children's books, but the books about Curious George were most successful. They were constantly issued new in the six decades since the publication of the first volume and translated into 17 languages, including Yiddish, Afrikaans and Braille. Movie

The animated movie has been released in Germany under the name " Coco Curious George ". In the U.S., the film was released, however, under the original name of " Curious George " on 10 February 2006. In Germany the theatrical release May 25, 2006 was. Birth of the film lasted unusually long, at least since 1992 they worked probably about him (but also long before that ).
