Current Biology

Current Biology is a scientific journal, the articles from all areas of biology published, especially from cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, neurobiology, ecology and evolutionary biology. Current Biology is published bi- weekly and includes research that are subject to peer review. Furthermore Current Biology contains review articles and a magazine section. The magazine was founded in 1992 and is since 2001 part of Cell Press, a division of Elsevier. The chief editor is Geoffrey North and the current (as of 2012) Impact Factor is 9.494.
