Cusco Declaration

The Declaration of Cuzco (actually Cuzco Declaration on the South American Community, Spanish declaración del Cusco sobre la Comunidad Sudamericana de Naciones ) is a two-page Memorandum of Understanding of 12 South American countries during the third South America Summit on 8 December 2004 in Cuzco ( Peru ) was signed. In it the creation of the South American Community of Nations is proclaimed and announced a South American Parliament, a common market and a common currency ( monetary union ).
