Cutter rigged denotes a Takelungsart in sailing yachts.

Kuttergetakelte sailing yachts have only one mast to which the mainsail is carried out, and before two or three headsail. The mainsail is on classic yachts a gaff sail, sometimes supplemented by an overlying proposed gaff topsail; on modern yachts, there is a high sail. The three are the headsail jib (B ), the jib ( D) and, used mostly in the classical variant, flyer (E). The sail area is spread equally from mainsail and headsail.
