Cuverville Island

, Also called cuverville Iceland Île de Cavelier de Cuverville, is a rocky island off the west coast of Graham lands in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula. It lies in the Errera Channel 1.9 km west of the peninsula Arctowski and 500 meters east of the northern part of Iceland Rongé.
History
Cuverville Iceland was by the Belgian Belgica expedition (1897 - 1899) discovered under Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery and named after the Vice- Admiral of the French Navy and Catholic politicians Jules de Cuverville.
Use
Cuverville Iceland is uninhabited. In the Antarctic summer it is often the breeding ground of a large colony of Gentoo penguins (English: Gentoo Penguins ) and is visited by cruise ships.
