Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón

Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón is a place on the lower reaches of the river Tirón in the Spanish region of La Rioja with about 503 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013).

Location

Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón is located about 55 kilometers northwest of Logrono ride on the river Tirón. The next largest cities are Haro (12.5 kilometers to the east ) and Miranda de Ebro (about 20 kilometers to the north ).

Demographics

Economy

History

In documents of the 11th century, the place is alternately Quosquorrita, Coscorrita or Cuzcurrita written; the latter spelling has prevailed later.
