Unicaja Almería Arukasur is a Spanish men's volleyball club based in Almería. He currently plays in the Super League, the Spanish top league.
History
The successful times of Unicaja Almería Arukasur first began during the 1990s. At that time still under the name of Unicaja Almería. The volleyball club plays since 1992 in the Super League, in 1995 you could get with the Cup win their first title. Since followed by eight league titles and five more cup victories and the first two Super Cups Spain could be won. In international affairs you could with the 3rd place in the Top Teams Cup 2001 draw up a Champions League place where you now is one of a fixed size. In July 2006, followed the renamed Unicaja Almeria Arukasur. This year, then, the club also won the Super Cup for the third time.
