The Cwmbran Stadium is a stadium with facilities for athletics in the Welsh town of Cwmbran. It has 10,500 courts ( 2,200 seats). In the 1970s and 1980s there international athletics meetings were held. In 1974 the stadium was given a plastic sheet. Between 2000 and 2002, the sports complex for 5.6 million pounds was (approx. € 6.4 million) renovation. Today it is mainly used as a venue of the football club Cwmbran Town. The stadium is part of the Sports Centre Cwmbran Stadium Sports Centre; the most modern sports facility in Torfaen.
