Cyprus Library

The Cyprus Library (Greek Κυπριακή Βιβλιοθήκη ) in Nicosia is the National Library of the Republic of Cyprus.

The library was built in 1927 on adoption of the British Colonial Governor Ronald Storrs as a city library. 1968 their population was merged with the library of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry transferred the line. In 1974 she moved to its original location in the fortress D' Avilla at the Venetian fortress wall. Your legal status as a national library was the establishment in 1987.
