Cyprus women's national football team

The Cyprus national football team of women representing Cyprus in international women's football. The selection is subject to the Cyprus Association.

The team was from May 2006 to January 2013 inactive, the association focused at this time on the two junior women 's and youth selection teams to create a more educated players base. Previously, the team was also very successful; it had lost all its five games, and even taken part in any competition.

Friendlies

In 2002, three friendlies against Greece took place, which were all lost. In 2006 there were two other countries Battles: a home game against Israel was lost with 1:6, a game in Slovakia ended with a 0:6 defeat.

On January 12, 2013, a match was held in Paphos to nearly seven years hiatus instead, which ended against Malta with the first point (1:1).

Junior teams

In 2007, with the U- 17 team for the first time a Cypriot woman team in an international contest .. Meanwhile, there is also a U- 19 team. These two youth teams are also initially supervised by Chrysostom Iacovou. The currently coached by Tziovana Chartoupallou U-19 team took part in qualifying for the U-19 Football Championship Women, 2013, but failed in the first qualifying round. Tournament Record

Cyprus has not yet taken part in any woman competition. The team did not take also been on every year since 2008 in March in Cyprus Cyprus Cup held in part. Also for the World Cup qualifier in 2015, no team has been reported.
