Cyrus IMAP server

The Mail Server Cyrus is a FLOSS project at Carnegie Mellon University. Originally, the server software for the campus mail system of the University has been developed, however, now it is a recognized and inserted also in the professional field Mail Delivery Agent. He currently supports the IMAP and POP3 protocols and works with various SMTP servers running Linux / Unix together. Cyrus uses the Cyrus SASL library, an implementation of SASL to provide multiple authentication methods: CRAM -MD5, Digest -MD5, GSSAPI, OTP, Plain, PAM. Of these methods, some work with strong cryptography.
