Czech Republic Fed Cup team

The Czech Fed Cup team is the national team of the Czech Republic Tennis, which is used in the Fed Cup. The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup ) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, similar to the Davis Cup for the men.

History

Czechoslovakia has won the Fed Cup five times. Czech Republic took part for the first time in 1993 as an independent nation at the Fed Cup. In 2011, the first Fed Cup victory succeeded. 2012, the title has been successfully defended.
