D. J. Opperman

Dirk Johannes Opperman ( born September 29, 1914 in Dundee, Natal, † 22 September 1985) was a South African writer in Afrikaans.

He was a teacher in Pietermaritzburg and Johannesburg, and later a professor at the University of Stellenbosch ( 1960-1985 ). He works for the Publications The Huisgenoot and Standpunte and he won several awards.
