D.C. Cab

The anarchists clique ( Alternative title: unlucky; Original Title: DC Cab) is an American action-comedy from 1983 directed by Joel Schumacher, who wrote the screenplay with Topper Carew. .

Action

Albert Hockenberry moved to Washington, D.C. There he is recruited by his friend Harold, an aging hippie, as a taxi driver. The Company Harold is in financial difficulties. Hockenberry endeavors with the drivers - to raise team spirit - which actually dream of other professions.

In one of the cars left behind a valuable musical instrument is found, receives 10 thousand dollars reward for Harold by the owner. He wants to distribute the money among the drivers, so they invest it as his business partner in the company. His wife Myrna takes the money itself, then it throws Harold and housed in this Hockenberry out of the house. Harold own savings distributed to its employees.

Hockenberry and two children of a Canadian diplomat kidnapped. Help Hock Berry's colleagues, to free him.

John Crichton compared on 11 April 2005 the movie on www.dvdtalk.com with a reality show in which one would now show such destruction as shown in the film. The screenplay of " cult classic comedy" is simply knitted in theory, but it bein consider numerous subplots; it schwächele in some places.

The magazine described the film Cinema as a " light-footed pleasure " and a " full-throttle comedy with unbridled sayings ".
