Daberkow

Daberkow is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald. The community is located south of Jarman. Until 1 January 2004, the municipality was part of the Office Tutow and has since become part of the Office Jarman - Tutow.

Geography and transport

Daberkow is located approximately eight kilometers south of Jarman. The national road 35 (formerly B96 ) runs through the district Hedwigshof the community. The place can be reached via the connection Jarman or clipping the A20, this runs through the municipality. Thanks to the southwest of the municipal area flows the Tollense.

History

Daberkow was first mentioned in documents in 1277.

In 1912, two lures were found in the municipality. These musical instruments from the Bronze Age are located in Berlin and the copies in the Kreisheimatmuseum in Demmin. In Berlin (where the Museum of Pre -and Early History in Berlin- Charlottenburg) are however only copies, the original lures are in the Pushkin Museum Moscow, where the Soviet army they spent in 1945.

The Good Daberkow was an old feud of the family von Blücher. Later it became monastery and then domain and leased as such. It had 550 ha of agricultural land. Last tenant was 1945 Hans Kröchert, who was killed in front of the manor, 1945.

  • Tower Hill Daberkow, dense, steeply sloped on the southern shore of the village pond, square, H 1.5m, Platform 6 x 6 m. Sinks in the east and west may indicate existing trenches. At the edge of the plateau Feldstein packages are visible.
