Dacia (journal)

The magazine Dacia. Revue d' histoire ancienne archéologie et d' ( German: . Dacia Journal of Archaeology and Ancient History ) is an archaeological journal from Romania.

For the first time the magazine was published in 1924 by the Romanian historian and archaeologist Vasile Pârvan. The original title of the magazine was: Dacia - Recherches et découvertes archéologiques en Roumanie ( German: Dacia - research and archaeological finds in Romania). In the years 1948-1957, the publication of the magazine for political reasons and of difficult situation in Romania was interrupted, thereby conditioned, there is a so-called "old" and "new publication series". The magazine is now published by Vasile Pârvan Institute of Archaeology of the Romanian Academy in Bucharest. The journal is divided into four identical areas in the following languages: French, English, German and Russian subdivided.
