Dacia Sandero

The Dacia Sandero is a compact car of the Dacia brand, whose first generation was introduced at the 78th Geneva Motor Show and is on the market since 20 June 2008.

The built plant in Brazil Curitiba car is the first model of the Renault Group, which was developed outside Europe. For the European market, he is, like the Logan, built in the factory in Pitesti (Romania). Outside Europe, the car model is based on the Renault Clio, Renault Sandero as offered. In one version with a higher ground clearance, the Sandero is available under two brands under the additional name Stepway. Equipment

The boot volume is 320 liters ( 1,200 liters with rear seats folded down ). ABS, front airbags, belt tensioners and belt force limiters on all five seats are standard, for side airbags and other special equipment you'll pay an additional cost. An ESP is, however, not available. The ground clearance is good 15.5 cm and in the higher trim levels, there is a hydraulic power steering. The front has been revised and is slightly rounder than the Logan.

The Sandero Stepway is a special edition, which was published in 2009 and in addition to a 20 mm raised suspension includes an off-road styling package. In addition to an optical underride guard the car has a number of add-on parts in matt chrome finish.

In May 2011, a new Sandero model was introduced with a modified interior and some exterior changes in Brazil.

Motors

The Sandero will be powered by the same engines as the Dacia Logan. The end of 2008, the diesel were already ordered and were delivered from 2009. From the beginning of 2009 the special model eco ² with a 1.2 -liter 16V engine with 55 kW in Germany was available. In Austria, the 1.4 MPI has been completely deleted and replaced for all versions by the 1.2 16V 55 kW motor due to the lower NoVA.

As of May 2012, the 1.6 16V engine with 105 hp in the Sandero Stepway was available in Germany, which can also be operated with ethanol.

The second generation of the Sandero was released officially in January 2013 on the European market, first vehicles will be delivered however, since November 2012.

The world premiere of the fourth generation Clio based on the vehicle took place at the Motor Show in Paris on September 27, 2012. In addition to the five-door hatchback, the greater ground clearance bidding, called Stepway model variant will be offered again.
