DADLE ( [D- Ala2, D- Leu5 ] -enkephalin ) is a synthetic opioid peptide with analgesic ( analgesic ) properties.

The peptide sequence Tyr -D-Ala -Gly -Phe- D-Leu.

Although partially described as a selective agonist at the δ -opioid receptor agonist DADLE also acts also on the μ1 -opioid receptor. In addition to analgesia, the substance causes a transient decrease in arterial blood pressure and heart rate. In ground squirrels DADLE capable of initiating hibernation in summer. DADLE further increases the survival time of explanted organs such as liver and lung.
