Dagebüll lighthouse

The lighthouse is a decommissioned lighthouse Dagebüll in Dagebüll to the North Frisian North Sea coast.

The square brick tower was built in 1929 and served as a fire of the leading lights Dagebüll until its replacement by the leading light Dagebüllhafen on the Dagebüller Mole in June 1988. It is located in the south of the village on the outer dike at the depot of the holm train Dagebüll - Oland - Langeneß. After the necessary by a dike increase expansion of one floor in 1980, the tower is 15.20 meters high; the fire was located at a height of 10.30 meters above the highest Tidenhochwasser. Particularly striking is the pointed roof, a black-green copper dome. The lighthouse was not added to the monument list the State of Schleswig -Holstein in 2010.

The lighthouse is privately owned since 2009 and was converted into a mini-hotel. Inside a steel framework with three levels has been installed; total, there are five levels in the tower pool and sanitary area, sleeping area, above the seating plane, and two intermediate levels, all about 48 steps. The walls are covered with wall heater and ecological clay plaster. The mini- hotel can accommodate two people.
