Dagi

Dagi was an Egyptian vizier of the 11th dynasty, the. Among Mentuhotep II and Mentuhotep III probably under officiated.

Documents

Dagi is mainly from his grave ( TT103 ) and mentions in the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II known. It appears in the mortuary temple first as " head of the Guards ". This title is also the official title on his sarcophagus, which was found in his grave and is now located in Cairo Egyptian Museum. From this position, he has been promoted to the "Vizier ". His grave was probably extended to such transportation and received a decoration in relief and murals. Also in the mortuary temple of the ruler he is coming on as vizier.

Tenure

The exact determination of his tenure is uncertain, but it was before him a certain Bebi in the office of vizier. Since no other viziers under the ruler so far are known in the royal court, Dagi has probably officiated by Bebi at the end of the reign of Mentuhotep II and perhaps under his successor.
