Dagur Kári

Dagur Kári Pétursson, mostly short Dagur Kári ( born December 12, 1973 in Aix -en- Provence) is an Icelandic filmmaker.

Life

Kári was born Icelandic parents in Aix -en- Provence ( France) and arrived at the age of three years after Iceland. His father is a writer and translator Pétur Gunnarsson.

From 1995 to 1999 he attended the Danish Film School. There he turned his short film Old Spice, and his final film Lost Weekend. His first feature film Nói Albinoi was published in 2003 and was a huge success in Scandinavia.

He also plays in the Icelandic band Slowblow, which contributed to the soundtrack so far all his films.
