Dahle (river)

The Dahle is a left tributary of the Elbe in Saxony. The river's name is associated with the largest town along the river, Dahlen ( Saxony).

Course

The Dahle rises in the Dahlen Heath, 3 km north of Schmannewitz. It flows through the towns of: Schmannewitz, Dahlen (Saxony), Lampertswalde, Sörnewitz, Cavertitz, blade grove Schirmenitz, Aussig and Seydewitz.

The largest part of the barrel from Lampertswalde is located on the territory of the municipality Cavertitz.

From the source to Dahlen it flows in a southerly direction and then is directed to the east to the Elbe. The last river kilometers upstream of the mouth forms the border to Brandenburg, before it flows near the ferry opposite the city Miihlberg / Elbe to the Elbe.
