The Office Dahme / Mark, 1992, only Office Dahme, was a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, where 15 municipalities in the former circles Luckau, Luckenwalde and Herzberg had formed an administration group ( since 1993 Teltow -Flaming, Brandenburg ). Another community was assigned by order of the Brandenburg Interior Minister office. Seat is in the town of Dahme / Mark. After incorporations and municipal mergers, the Office Dahme / Mark manages three communities today.

Geographical location

The Office Dahme / Mark is located in the southeast of the Brandenburg Teltow -Flaming. It is bordered to the north by the town of Baruth / Mark and the Office sub- Spreewald, to the east by the city Luckau and the municipality and Heideblick, to the south by the Office zip and the official free city Schoenewalde, and to the west by the municipality and Niederer Flaming,

  • Ihlow with the districts Boll Ensdorf, Ihlow, Illmersdorf, Mehlsdorf, Niendorf and Riet village

History of the Office

On 22 May 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave its approval for the formation of the Office Dahme. The date for the conclusion of the Office May 25, 1992 has been set. For the official residence of the city Dahme / Mark was determined. The following municipalities from the districts Luckau, Luckenwalde and Herzberg were at the time of formation of united therein (in the order given in the Official Journal ):

The town of Dahme / Mark was not included at the time of the official education in the office ( or forgotten in the list above? ).

On 30 November 1992 the Office Dahme (Mark) was assigned to the community Illmersdorf ( circle Jiiterbog ). On 1 January 1995 the municipalities Liepe and Wahlendorf merged to form the new municipality Wahlendorf.

As of 31 December 2001, the municipalities Görsdorf, Prensdorf and Wildau - Wentdorf merged to form the new municipality Dahmetal. Also on 31 December 2001, the municipalities Buckow, Gebersdorf, Kemlitz, Rosenthal and the town of Dahme / Mark merged to form the new town of Dahme / Mark. The communities Boll Ensdorf, Illmersdorf, Mehlsdorf, Niendorf, Riet village (Official Dahme / Mark ) and the community Ihlow (Official Niederer Flaming ) joined together on the same date to the new community Ihlow. The Ministry of the Interior of Brandenburg approved on 21 August 2002, the integration of communities Schoena - Kolpien and Wahlendorf in the city Dahme / Mark. The incorporations, however, were quite effective until 26 October 2003.

On 23 October 2003, the municipality Niebendorf -Hein village was incorporated Dahme / Mark by law in the city.

Through the area of the office runs from west to east, the federal highway 102 Brandenburg- Luckau. The nearest railway stations are Drahnsdorf and Luckau - Uckro on the railway line between Berlin and Dresden.
