Daihatsu Sirion (1998-2001)

The Daihatsu Storia, which was offered in Europe as a Daihatsu Sirion, was the manufacturer Daihatsu a small car.

An identical model was offered in Asia as the Toyota Duet. It was originally released in early 1998 in Europe, first with a 40 kW/55 hp payable 1.0-liter 3- cylinder engine. In 1999, the Sirion 1.3 Sport added; it was powered by a 102 -hp 1.3-liter 4- cylinder engine. Optional all-wheel drive was available.

End of 2001, until then only moderately successful Sirion received a thorough facelift, especially at the front and in the interior. The Sirion 1.0 got the same engine that was installed in the recently developed Daihatsu Cuore L7, which is now made ​​58 hp.
