Daikin

Daikin Industries, Ltd.. (Japaneseダイキン工業 株式会社, Daikin Kōgyō Kabushiki - gaisha ) is a Japanese company with headquarters in Osaka, which is led, among other things in the Nikkei 225 equity index.

The company is active in the chemical industry. Around 33,500 people are employed in the company. Company president is Yukiyoshi Okano (as of 2010). In November 2006, Daikin Industries, the company acquired OYL Group, which also includes the subsidiary McQuay International is one. At Daikin Industries include the German subsidiary Daikin Airconditioning Germany (based in Unterhaching ) and Daikin Chemical Europe (based in Dusseldorf ).
