Daisuke Inoue

Daisuke Inoue (Japanese井上 大佑, Daisuke Inoue; born May 10, 1940 in Osaka, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese entrepreneur and is considered the inventor of the karaoke machine.

Life

Born in Osaka, he grew up in neighboring Nishinomiya. After leaving school he worked in a trading company until 1970 he set up his practice as a manager and drummer in a band. This played in a bar in Kobe for businessmen who wanted to sing on the stage itself, the appropriate musical accompaniment.
