Daisuke Ishiwatari (Jap.石 渡 太 辅; born August 14, 1973 in Johannesburg) is a Japanese video game developer, musician, composer and illustrator. He is known especially for the development of the 2D fighting game Guilty Gear. He developed the characters, composed the music, wrote the storyline and is also voice actors for the characters Sol Badguy and Order - Sol. Childhood and youth
As a child Daisuke Ishiwatari became interested in video games and anime. Career as a video game developer

Career as a musician
In 1995, Daisuke Ishiwatari founded the band ASH who was mainly responsible for the perfecting of Guilty Gear soundtracks. The band consisted of five musicians.
