Daisuke Sekimoto

Daisuke Sekimoto (关 本 大 介Japanese, Daisuke Sekimoto, born February 9, 1981 in Tsurumi -ku, Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese professional wrestler. He currently performs regularly at Big Japan Pro Wrestling and various independent promotions.

Career

Sekimoto was bodybuilder in his youth and began his career as a wrestler on 10 August 1999 in Big Japan Pro Wrestling. By 2004, he took up with various Japanese leagues such as Pro Wrestling ZERO -ONE, Big Japan Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. 2001 was Sekimoto with MEN's Teioh a tag team. This Sekimoto won the BJW Tag Team Championship and the WEW Hardcore Tag Team Championship. On August 18, 2002, he won the BJW Heavyweight Championship. On 5 October 2004 Sekimoto occurred in the U.S. in the IWA East Coast. In October 2005, he won the BJW Tag Team Championship win one more time, this time with Abdullah Kobayashi. He held that title four more times.

2008 Sekimoto feuded briefly with the Army against the Stable Stable Axe Sword Army. In October 2008, he performed on CHIKARA. In the years between 2009 and 2011 Sekimoto participated at Westside Xtreme Wrestling ( wXw ) in Germany on 16 Carat Gold Tournament.

In August 2009, he won the Eight Man Tag Team Tournament in Big Japan Pro Wrestling for themselves. On January 15, 2011 at wXw Back To The Roots X, Sekimoto won at wXw the wXw Unified World Championship of Austria's Big Van Walter. On 21 March 2011 Sekimoto, Yuji Okabayashi won the All Asia Tag Team Championship at All Japan Pro Wrestling. On 2 May 2011 he gave the wXw Unified World Title again at Big Van Walter.

7 August 2011 Sekimoto won the ZERO1 Fire Festival 2011 at Pro Wrestling ZERO1. In the final he defeated Kohei Sato and could the newly created NWA World Premium Heavyweight Championship win. The title he gave to Akebono on 16 May 2012.
