Daisy Tahan

Daisy Tahan (* March 2001, probably in Glen Rock, New Jersey ) is an American actress. She has two older brothers, one of whom, Charlie, is also active as an actor. My other brother (* ~ 1995) is a guitarist and drummer.

Life and career

Tahan was probably born in March 2001, as the youngest child of Ellie and Michael Tahan in Glen Rock in the U.S. state of New Jersey. She followed her two -year-older brother Charlie in the acting career and, after some theater performances in 2007 her first role in a well-known production, as they gave the directorial debut of the successful actress, was used in the Helen Hunt comedy Then She Found Me. In the same year we finally saw them also in David Auburn's drama Girl in the Park, where they once again took over a not insignificant supporting role in the third film of the Pulitzer Prize winner. The Berlin voice actress Vanessa Stuckenberger lent her while in the German version of the film synchronous voice. 2008 was followed by a small role in Synecdoche, New York, the directorial debut of award-winning (including an Oscar ) screenwriters and producers Charlie Kaufmann. Already in the following year was followed for the coming young actress numerous other engagements in the film and, more recently, in television series. So she stood among other things in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit front of the camera and was also a major role in Nurse Jackie, where she was seen in the same year in the same eleven different consequences in the recurring role of Fiona Peyton. This role had Tahan, however, held only in the first season of the series and has been replaced from Season 2 by about the same age Mackenzie Aladjem. Further engagements had 2009 Impossible, among others in the films Once More with Feeling, Motherhood and Love and Other Pursuits. While the girls from Glen Rock in the first two films each held a significant role, she was in Love and Other Impossible Pursuits at her older brother in the use of the site, but at the same time was the first time only in a minor role in use. 2010 came to Tahan inserts in the short film Lulu at the Ace Hotel, where she sang the title role of Lulu, as well as in the star-studded thriller 13, where they got on only a small role. That same year, followed by a renewed eruption of young talent, as they in my wife, kids and I in the role of Samantha Focker, the elder child of Gaylord " Greg" Focker (played by Ben Stiller ) and Pamela Martha Focker ( Teri Polo) was fetched. After a more or less quiet verlaufendem 2011 followed their upcoming performances in the following year. In addition to an appearance as a younger version of Denise ( Maggie Gyllenhaal ) in The Corrections, they also came in an episode of Royal Pains for use. In the current (as of July 2012) in post-production located ligand thriller Blood Ties by Guillaume Canet, who expected his start in the U.S. celebrates in 2013, Daisy Tahan holds a more minor role along with her brother Charlie.
