Dakin Matthews
Dakin Matthews ( born November 7, 1940 in Oakland, California) is an American actor. He had many appearances in film, television (for example, Gilmore Girls and Desperate Housewives ) and in the theater. In addition, he has worked as a dramaturg, director and theater scholar.
Life
Matthews studied from 1960 to 1963 in the Vatican and received there the degree of theology. He then worked for a time as a teacher. Matthews is a founding member of John Houseman 's Acting Company. He married the actress and director Anne McNaughton and the couple have four children. Today, he is mainly working as an actor and lives with his wife in Los Angeles.
